Overview
Through the Art Academy located in Raritan NJ, I worked closely with the teacher to create multiple color paintings using oil paint.
Approach
This was an observational drawing in which I matched the shape and color of the reference image as closely as possible. I used techniques such as color matching, blending, and knowledge of shadow, depth, and perception.
Perennialism
2022
Overview
This oil painting, exhibiting technical skill and color-matching abilities, was completed in September 2022. Dimensions are 9 in. by 12 in. Old Holland oil paints were used to create secondary colors such as the orange and green, as well as highlights and shadows, emphasizing light applications.

This oil painting, exhibiting acknowledgement of shadows, shading, and color-matching abilities, was completed in May 2022. Dimensions are 9 in. by 12 in. Old Holland brand oil paints were used to create analogous colors such as the maroon and shades of orange, as well as highlights and shadows, emphasizing light applications.
